hi everyone
this is my 5th shot at digital painting … i’m still kind of experimenting and trying new things … here i tried a new technique which is starting in grayscale and then coloring … i don’t really like this technique since it’s kind of far from how you do things tradintionaly ( i’m kind of a purist at this ) but it’s a very effective technique sometimes

this is my tribute to one of the greatest musicians of our century
a great musician , great dancer , great performer , great composer
Michael Jackson had a lot of impact on me when i was a little kid – the first radio cassete i got was the album “dangerous” by him and on my first youtube painting video ( which was deleted due to copyrights issues ) i have used his ( and Slash’s ) song “give in to me”
some of my favorite MJ songs are :

Michael Jackson will forever be remembered as one of the best performers of all time and one of the best musicians of our century

and personally i never believed any of the stuff said about him – just search for “Michael Jackson The Untold Truth about Neverland” here on youtube if you want to get another perspective about the whole thing

I’ve seen a few paintings out there, including a ship and a paris-scape, that have actual lights in the painted windows or in the sky, like the light bulb is actually painted over. does anyone know what these are called or where i can get them?
